Lights-Cameras-Action! With NY Fashion Week in full swing, designers are debuting their collections for Spring 2018. I have loved getting to follow the different shows and also see a collection preview on the runway for Carolina Herrera, Elie Tahari, Canali, Rebecca Taylor, and Roberto Cavalli. Some definite trends this spring are pointing to large, fresh floral prints rather than some of the smaller flower patterning we’ve seen over the last few years. Unsurprisingly, pinks and purples are projected to be big colors this season, ones that will carry into this summer. Mesh pieces, v-cut jeans, and geometric patterns also seem to be essentials for the wardrobe this season. I love the fresh twist on classic spring pieces, which tend to strongly emphasize florals, now working with more modern and geometric cuts. Basically, get ready for a versatile and vibrant spring vibe! I am an athleisure junkie and so seeing some of these trends incorporated into yoga pants gets me so excited! So even through that groundhog called for six more weeks of winter, I’m still banking on spring and all of the awesome new items from these collections arriving much sooner! ???
