Coping with COVID-19

I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future.🙏🏼🌎

It’s easy for fear to overwhelm us and anxiety to creep in as we realize that the state of the world is out of our control. In fact, as someone who loves to be in control and plan ahead, I realize now more than ever that my life and my plans for life are not my own. It’s all in God’s hands and I can trust in that.
I’m choosing to stay positive and make a difference where I can and still have control. It’s a great time to:

📝Journal
📖Read a book
🚶🏼‍♀️Go on a walk
💡Learn a new skill (Master Class or YouTube videos)
💪🏼Exercise (lots of online options for isometrics—I’m streaming super fun cardio w @dallasdancefitness)
🔋Take care of yourself – take your vitamins/drink water
📱Call your loved ones
🗑Organize (clean out) your space
♻️Reduce*Reuse*Recycle
🙏🏼Spend time with God

I’m so thankful for everyone who is working to provide essential services, supplying food, medical care, and working to help those who are ill.
Let’s pray for this world and for all of those suffering and sacrificing along with our leaders and those working to develop a vaccine.
Make the most of this time and be grateful for what’s most important. Let’s draw close to loved ones, family, and also to God. Grow faith in times of fear. Be well.

xoxo,

Gracie
